Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1999. After graduation, he ventured to Yokohama, Japan, where he spent two years teaching English before returning to Kansas City. Back home, Jason worked as a pathology assistant for five years, gaining invaluable medical insights before shifting gears to pursue a career in law. He attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law, where he participated in both an international trade moot court and a new venture creation competition, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 2010. Jason began his legal journey with the Hollis Law Firm as a law clerk in 2009 and continued as an attorney after his graduation.
Jason’s background in biology and pathology gives him unique insight into how injuries affect the body, and he applies that insight to every case he handles. Whether a client suffers injuries in a car accident, gets hurt by a defective product, or experiences harm from a medical provider’s negligence, Jason applies the same rigorous attention to detail and commitment to his clients’ well-being.
With a deep commitment to client advocacy, Jason has dedicated his legal career to representing those injured in personal injury cases across Kansas and Missouri. Jason understands that an injury can upend every part of a person’s life, and he works to help clients pursue the fair compensation they deserve. His personal injury practice covers cases including:
Each of these cases involves unique circumstances, and Jason takes the time to understand his clients’ full situation before building a strategy.
Alongside his personal injury work, Jason has also built his experience to span a range of complex product liability litigations, including metal-on-metal hip implant cases, bladder cancer claims related to diabetes medication, and cardiovascular injury cases stemming from dialysis procedures involving GranuFlo. In these cases, injured consumers are often up against large corporations and their legal teams, and Jason’s scientific background gives him an edge in understanding the technical evidence involved. His product liability experience includes:
Jason’s role as lead attorney in these high-stakes litigations reflects his dedication to seeking justice for clients harmed by dangerous products.
Jason has also handled medical malpractice matters throughout his career, advocating for patients who have suffered serious harm at the hands of healthcare providers. These cases require an attorney who can assess both the legal and medical dimensions of what happened, and Jason’s scientific background positions him well to do exactly that. Across all three areas of practice, Jason’s approach is the same: listen carefully, build a thorough case, and fight for our clients’ rights at every stage of the legal process.
Outside of his legal practice, Jason is passionate about traveling, staying active, exploring local restaurants, reading science fiction, and volunteering in his community. Jason’s professional memberships include:
This dedication further supports his efforts to advocate effectively for injured persons and maintain a robust civil justice system. His professional memberships reflect his commitment to staying connected to the broader legal community and advocating for injured clients at every level.

“Jason helped us get through a very difficult and lengthy case by always being available to answer questions, providing updates as needed, and being, I believe, uncommonly supportive. We have no reservations about giving him and the staff at Hollis the highest recommendation. They all made a painful time bearable for us and did so with professionalism and compassion. Best of all? We won.”

“My lawyer Jason and his paralegals Jordan and Melisha always returned our calls and kept us updated. They went above and beyond their job to keep us in the loop. We were very pleased with their service and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They’re very professional, courteous, and just plain nice people. Hollis Law Firm is lucky to have such high caliber people on their staff.”
— David J.
“My attorney Jason Chambers definitely went beyond the call of duty to reassure me that he was doing everything he could to represent me. Through this process, though it was long, it was very assuring to know that Jason Chambers and Hollis Law Firm was on my side. God bless this company and the staff, and especially my attorney Jason Chambers.”
